Scene 85

Described but unnamed by the characters in the manga.

"Sky sword" was also used as an early scanlation term for Jean's 旋空剣 (Rotation Space Sword), which VIZ Media translates as "Drill Sword."

Dietrich's unnamed agile ability enables this technique: attack target by using the target as springboard, bounding sky-high, then landing the sword on the target's head, bisecting the target in two.

Deneve first describes the technique.[3]

Dietrich's hunt

Deneve and Helen plan to visit their hometowns in Mucha. But they run across an awakened hunt led by Dietrich.[4]

The awakened being lures the hunt into the river. As the hunt founders in the water, three warriors go down. Dietrich is the last one standing. Despite Miria's orders, Helen then Deneve aid the hunt. The awakened ends up blinded, jawless and losing three arms.[5]

Dietrich delivers the coup de grace—she springs from the awakened's body, leaping sky-high, then lands with the sword striking the awakened's skull, bisecting the body.[6]

On Northern Path, the Ghosts rescue a hunt under attack by newly born awakened beings that escaped an Organization facility. Astonished, Anastasia and Nike watch the engagement, during which Dietrich bisects an awakened using her technique.[7]
