Cold open[]
The Organization's Eyes, Renée, senses Yoma energy in the vicinity of Doga village.[7]
Within Doga, Raki and his child companion observe the ruins of his family house.[8]
Encounter[]
Questions[]
The villagers recognizes Raki even as an adult. As in Scene 3, the villagers still fear that Raki is a Yoma, especially now that he has killed one. Raki grabs one panicky villager by the throat and orders him to calm down.
Then Renée confronts Raki with the Yoma's head. She demands to know how he detected the Yoma. When he equivocates, she grabs him by the throat in the same manner as he did with the villager.[9]
Intervention[]
But the small child intervenes. Renée at first warns away the child, but suddenly retreats in a flash.[10]
Raki tries to reassure Renée, who cannot believe he would let this "child" accompany him. When she questions his sanity, he pleads guilty.[11]
Clare[]
Raki tries asking about Clare's whereabouts. Renée says she never heard of Clare, but promises to convey a message should she meet her.[12]
After Renée leaves, Raki pats the head of Priscilla.[13]
New encounter[]
After Renée leaves town, she senses the Yoma energy of an awakened being. She flees, but is ambushed by Riful, whose tentacles pin down Renée. Riful says the warrior passes the test.[14]
