Clarice decides[]

The guards of Rabona watch as Galatea, the Ghosts, Clarice and Miata all face each other. Sid reassures them that the Ghosts are friends, not foes.[8]

Despite Galatea's offer of her life, Clarice cannot go through with the execution. Miria advises Clarice to desert the Organization.[9]

Investigation[]

Secrets revealed[]

Miria announces the Ghosts' goal to destroy the Organization. When Galatea questions the usefulness of this, Miria reveals the results of her investigation into the Organization.[10]

She recounts her visit to a mystery village far from Organization Headquarters.

The villagers there never heard of Yoma, nor seen a Claymore warrior before.[11]

Speculation[]

The warriors then hear Miria's theory—that Yoma are created by the Organization itself.[12]

When Galatea questions this, Miria says proof is something every warrior carries—the Claymore sword. She notes that they are unbreakable and appear constructed for something much more solid than Yoma.[13]

Overseas war[]

Miria says a greater land exists beyond the island. Where an ongoing war is occurring, among 多くの人種と多くの国[14] (many races and many countries). One side has allies called Dragons' Descendents, with impenetrable skins.[15]

The other side is trying to develop awakened beings as a counter-weapon.[16]

And this island world is being used a testing site for those awakened.[17]
