Etymology[]
Town unnamed by the characters in the manga. "Isley's last stand" often appears in other Wikis and forums. Possibly derives from Custer's Last Stand. First used humorously in a review of Scene 89 on A Product of Wasted Time blog.[3]
Description[]
A "lively" town in the southern region of Mucha, according to Helen. Situated in a valley. See world map for approximate location. Where Isley of the North is destroyed by the Abyss Feeders.
History[]
Dietich[]
Deneve and Helen journey to Helen's hometown in Mucha, and on the way save an awakened hunt from destruction.[4]
Dietrich, out of gratitude, insists on following Deneve and Helen. While trying to lose Dietrich, they sense extreme Yoma energy from an unnamed town.[5]
Isley[]
Despite Dietrich's warning, Helen talks Deneve into visiting the town anyway, hoping to catch a glance of Isley for a thrill.[6] But Isley sees through their disguise and attacks. Helen and Deneve end up fighting for their lives.[7]
The Abyss Feeders interrupt the fight and attack Helen, Deneve and Isley at once. Dietrich intervenes in the 3-way combat, telling Deneve and Helen to keep still, or the Abyss Feeders will attack.[8]
Dietrich, Helen and Deneve flee town as the Abyss Feeders destroy Isley.[9] Isley's last thought are about his "family," consisting of Priscilla, Raki and himself.[10]
Post-rebellion[]
After the Claymore Rebellion, Raki and the Ghosts travel to Rabona. On a city battlement, Raki meets Chronos and Lars.[11]
Chronos reveals Isley's death being due to weapons of the Organization. This confirms Raki's suspicion that during the Mucha interlude, Isley drew away some danger, so Raki and Priscilla would be left unharmed.[12]

- In the village, Deneve and Helen being able to hide their silver eyes without aura suppressant is a continuity issue that occurs throughout the Claymore series
