The Ever Glory 艾爾米塔 actually translates as "Hermitage."

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Wears long, hooded jellabiya-like robe, face veiled.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Typical weary, parental demeanor in handling Claymore warriors.

History[edit | edit source]

Early life unknown.

Phantom[edit | edit source]

From afar, Ermita observes Miria destroy a Yoma pack.[11]

He notes Miria's "Phantom" technique. Also watching is warrior No. 4, Ophelia. Though part of the hunt, she refuses to participate as no awakened being is present.[12]

Afterward he sends Ophelia and Miria together on another hunt—with Ophelia in charge. It is unknown whether he is aware awakened is Miria's friend Hilda.[13]

Teresa[edit | edit source]

Manga[edit | edit source]

After Teresa deserts the Organization, Orsay speaks with a Man in Black who resembles Ermita. Orsay orders warriors No. 2 through 5 to find and purge Teresa.[14]

Anime[edit | edit source]

Ermita is the Man in Black that Orsay speaks to.[15]

Paburo Hunt[edit | edit source]

In unnamed town, Clare arrives a week late for a meeting with the Paburo hunt. She and Raki are intercepted by Ermita, who leads them to meeting. He leaves during argument among the warriors.[16]

The next day, beyond the Paburo Mountains, Galatea remote views the hunt's progress.[17]

Ermita and Galatea

Ermita listens to her report. Galatea's Wide Area Sensing is so acute, she reads the thoughts and emotions of the hunt. She notes the general unease of the hunt as Miria speaks. And even a tragic event in Clare's past.[18]

Galatea notes more unusual activity among the hunt, but is uncertain what is happening. Ermita warns that she may cross swords with them someday.[19]

Sutafu[edit | edit source]

At Organization Headquarters, the Executive meets Rubel. The awakened body of Ophelia has been found. The chief, Limt, asks if Clare killed Ophelia. Rubel expresses doubts.[20]

Executive members debate whether Clare's transplant of Teresa succeeded or not.[21]

Limt orders Ermita to find Clare.[22]
