"Continent" translates from 大陸[12] (tairiku). The Organization refers to the island as a "wide continent"[13]

Nameless due the inhabitants' belief that their land is the entire world. A Claymore warrior, Helen, refers to it as "this world."[14] All other terms that the Ghosts use, such as "island" or "land," are generic.

Translated Claymore DS Game map, with additions (in parentheses) from the manga (post-7-year timeskip), anime and maps below published in Jump SQ. Regions unnamed on original map.

Game map derives from Cynthia's map in Scene 83. She draws a 5-region map, as well as the 4-quadrant configuration that the Organization uses.[16]
