Cold open[]
Flashbacks—Rigaldo sensing the team captains, Isley explaining to Raki that Priscilla is an awakened being, the Northern Army retreating, Rigaldo's awakening into the Silver Lion, his decapitation the battle group leadership, and now his targeting of Miria.
Cavern[]
Raki tries to understand Priscilla, unfathomable as it is to him. Isley tells him that Priscilla is only being what she is.
Pieta[]
Meanwhile, Clare, Deneve and Helen try to protect Miria, the last captain of the battle group. Deneve goes down. Clare, now partially awakened, unsuccessfully attacks Rigaldo. Miria can scarcely keep up with Rigaldo, despite her Phantom technique. Miria is wounded.
Travelers[]
Isley, Raki and Priscilla continue their horseback ride to Pieta. A pair of fleeing refugees warn them about the fighting there. Raki gallops ahead to Pieta, on the chance that Clare may be there.
Last leader[]
Rigaldo finally succeeds in trapping Miria with his extensible claws. He is about to deliver the coup de grace. But in slow motion, Clare is shown racing toward Miria and Rigaldo. Clare tries to gain more awakened power as she goes the distance.
Surprise[]
Rigaldo's arm that holds Miria suddenly separates. Both his arm and Miria fall in the snow. Rigaldo looks on in disbelief.
Clare's awakened attack
At a distance, an awakening Clare watches with brightly glowing eyes.
